At New Life Church, our Creche Work for Little Explorers and Big Explorers is designed to introduce children to God and Christianity in a fun and engaging way. Using the Bible as our foundation, we creatively deliver teachings through stories, videos, crafts, games, songs, and memory verses. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about God, have fun, and make new friends.
- Little Exlolorers is a space for adults with infants age 0-2 to use in a room adjacent to the main hall. There are age appropriate toys provided and the audio preach is relayed through into the room enabling people to hear the word.
- Explorers is a group for children aged 2-pre school to attend each week. Where the parents can stay to help settle children. Otherwise settled children can be left with volunteers who engage in age appropriate crafts and activities. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment where the children can have fun.
During each session, children will be offered a drink and a snack. If your child has any allergies, please inform our volunteers so we can provide a suitable alternative. You are also welcome to provide your own snacks if preferred. We are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for every child in our care.
At New Life Church, our EPIC (Everything Possible in Christ) Sunday School is designed specifically for children in school reception to Year 2. This exciting program helps kids discover the amazing stories of the Bible and understand that everything is possible with God. From Noah's ark and the great flood to Jesus walking on water and even finding a coin in the belly of a fish, our engaging lessons bring the Bible to life in a fun and memorable way.
Our dedicated and enthusiastic team uses a variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, crafts, games, and songs, to ensure that each child learns about God's incredible power and love. EPIC is more than just a Sunday School; it's a place where children can grow in their faith, make new friends, and develop a strong foundation in Christ.
Welcome to EDGE (Every Day God Encounters), our dynamic Sunday School program designed for children in school years 3 to 6. At New Life Church, we believe that every child can experience God's presence and power in their daily lives. EDGE helps children dive deeper into the Bible, making its teachings relevant and accessible to their everyday experiences.
In EDGE, children explore the stories and lessons of the Bible in a way that resonates with their age group. Through interactive lessons, engaging discussions, creative activities, and hands-on projects, we aim to show kids that God is actively involved in their lives and that they can have meaningful encounters with Him every day.
We have a vibrant youth of Secondary aged children across a number of schools based in Rugby. Our emphasis is fellowship, fun and teaching God's word in a relevant and applicable way.
Our gatherings in the hub tend to start around 11am after the worship time on a Sunday. We provide refreshments and open our sessions with interactive discussions around topical issues that face our youth. The Bible is central to all our teaching.
Outside of the Sunday sessions together we have social times which have included: Karaoke and Pizza, bowling, day trips, bradgate park walks and climbing in the peak district. We also enjoy BBQs in the summer. We are always open to hear from our young people what they would like to do together outside of sunday sessions.
We believe in making everyone feel welcome and encouraging young people to find their own personal walk with God.
Our youth leaders are all volunteers and have undertaken safeguarding training and are DBS checked.
Parents of youth members can be added to a whatsapp group to keep updated on news and events relevant to youth.
At New Life Church, we believe that everyone has unique gifts and talents that can be used to serve God and our community. Volunteering is a wonderful way to get involved, make a difference, and grow in your faith. We have several exciting opportunities for you to use your skills and passions in our Music, Kids and Youth, and Tech Teams.
There are many areas one can serve the church. From stewarding to serving refreshments or helping out at toddler groups or church events. All we ask is that people have attended a welcome group and have become a member of the church.
Regarding volunteering with the children’s and youth work, there will be an application process and DBS checks.
Playing music and singing to God our adoration is a priority in our gatherings.
If you are interested in getting involved, and have an adequate skill level in singing or playing an instrument!
Our worship team would love to hear from you.
If you are interested in volunteering as a children’s worker there is a recruitment process please see Hannah Scotland for more information. If you are interested in working with high school aged please see either Andrew and Kristina Gray.
Our production team consists of those helping with the PA system, projector system, lighting system and video camera setup.

New Life Church Rugby is committed to the Great Commission. We believe that the good news of Jesus Christ is not just a local affair, but a universal message for all of God's creation. To this means as a church we partner with our church network Lifelink Global to reach further than one church can. Mission is not done in isolation but as a community. We are also mindful of Galatians 2:10 to not neglect the poor and the needy as part of Jesus’ mission.
We encourage the church to be a witness for Jesus. We have a program of outreach, particularly at Christmas, Easter and other times of the year, we seek to reach out to the local community with special events. As a church we seek to help those who are in need and to teach and train people in the Christian faith. This is done through our pastoral care team and through a variety of different Teaching Outlets, Life Groups, Prayer Meetings, Welcome Courses and Our Sunday Services.
Our members are involved with town-wide initiatives under the Revive banner. Revive has diverse outreach activities, such as:
New Life Church is part of the Lifelink global group of churches. We support other churches in the UK and USA. This is done through several teaching initiatives that are run here under the Lifelink Global banner in Rugby through training leaders or hot-topic days targeting church members.
Internationally, we have partnerships with church ministries in Argentina, Zimbabwe and Zambia, South Africa, India, Mongolia. New Life Church is an apostolic base to help spearhead the ministry of Lifelink Global into these nations. The main thrust of Lifelink Global is the training of leaders and supplying them with teaching resources. Ministries from among the leaders in New Life Church and other churches in the network regularly participate in international mission. We encourage everyone in the church to support the mission in prayer and practically.
Lifelink Global also has a humanitarian arm, called Opportunity to Hope (O2H), providing support, grants to good causes all over the world. Members of New Life Church are on the board of O2H and others subscribe to the initiative on a monthly basis.
We are a community of God’s people rather than simply a Sunday morning congregation. One way we seek to foster a sense of community is by providing opportunity for everyone in the church to be a part of a Life group. There are three main life groups in the church: one that meets on Wednesdays and another two that meet on a Thursday.

The Wednesday night Life Group is led by Peter and Tabitha.
THURSDAY

This Thursday Afternoon Life Group is led by Liz Fleming and Ruth Dunse.
THURSDAY
