New Life Church leadership is made up of a team of elders as is indicated in the New Testament.
Elders are responsible for general oversight of the church including preaching, pastoral care, discipleship and overall vision and direction. We believe that a plurality or team approach to eldership is most biblical. In this way, responsibility is shared amongst a team of elders with one elder holding the role of first amongst equals. Elders are not a particular age, but rather must fulfil the character qualifications found in Timothy and Titus.
New Life Church also recognizes the contemporary operation of the trans-local ministries of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teaching (Ephesians 4). These ministries exist to strengthen and mature the Church. To learn more please visit Lifelink International.
